In short: you get a free mockup first, one clear price, a written contract, ownership of your finished website, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Please read the details below.
01About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of lvlgruppen.com and to all website design, hosting, maintenance and related services (“Services”) provided by LVL Gruppen (CVR 43855492, VAT DK43855492), Søborg Hovedgade 38, 2860 Søborg, Denmark (“LVLGRUPPEN”, “we”, “us”). “Client” or “you” means the business or person that requests or buys the Services.
Our Services are provided to businesses. By requesting a mockup, signing a proposal or contract, paying an invoice, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If we sign a written agreement or proposal with you, it forms part of these Terms and prevails if there is a conflict.
02Our services and packages
We design, build, launch and support websites for home service and other local businesses. Our current packages are:
| Package | What it covers | One-time price |
|---|---|---|
| Single-page website | One-page website | $499 |
| Business website | Up to 10 pages | $949 |
| E-commerce store | Online store with up to 30 products | $1,599 |
Each package includes design, domain registration support, hosting, on-page SEO setup and support, as described on our website and in your proposal. Extra pages, products, features or services outside the agreed scope are quoted separately and only started once you approve the quote. Prices on our website may change, but a price you have accepted in writing will not change for that project.
03Free mockup
We offer a free homepage mockup with no obligation to buy. The mockup, its design, text and images remain our property until the package is paid in full. You may use it only to decide whether to hire us, and you may not copy it, publish it, or give it to another company to build.
We aim to deliver the mockup within 48 hours of our call, but this depends on us receiving the information we need from you.
04Orders, payment and taxes
- A project begins when you accept our proposal or contract in writing (email or electronic acceptance counts) and any required first payment is received.
- Prices are one-time fees in US dollars, unless your proposal says otherwise. Payment terms, such as deposits and milestones, are set out in your proposal or invoice.
- Prices exclude VAT, sales tax or similar taxes. If tax applies, we add it to the invoice as required by law.
- Invoices are due within the time stated on the invoice (14 days if none is stated). If you pay late, we may pause work and hosting, and charge interest and reasonable collection costs where the law allows.
- Payment processor fees, bank charges and currency conversion costs are your responsibility.
05Timelines and your responsibilities
Many sites go live in as little as 14 days, but that is a target and not a guarantee. Timelines depend on you. To keep the project on track you agree to:
- give us accurate information, content, images, logos and access we need, on time;
- review drafts and give clear feedback and approvals promptly;
- make sure you own or have permission to use everything you give us (texts, images, logos, trademarks, music and so on), and that it does not break anyone’s rights or the law.
If you are late with materials or feedback, deadlines move accordingly. If a project is stalled for more than 60 days through no fault of ours, we may treat it as closed and bill the work done so far.
06Revisions
Your package includes reasonable revisions to the design and content until you approve the website. Revisions mean changes to the agreed design and text. Requests that add new pages, features or a different design direction after approval count as extra work and are quoted separately. Once you approve the final website for launch, later changes are handled through support or maintenance.
07Ownership and intellectual property
- Your website. After we receive full payment, you own the final website design and the content created for you. You are not renting it from us.
- Your materials. You keep ownership of everything you give us. You give us a licence to use it to deliver the Services.
- Our tools. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, templates, know-how and general methods, and give you a non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your website.
- Third-party items. Themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and software that we use may come under their own licences. You must follow those licences, and some may need renewal after the first year.
- Portfolio. We may show your finished website and your business name in our portfolio and marketing, unless you tell us in writing that you prefer us not to.
08Hosting, domain and maintenance
- First year. Hosting, security updates and support are included for the first year after launch.
- After year one. Ongoing maintenance and hosting continue for $249 per year (single-page and business websites) or $499 per year (e-commerce stores). We will remind you before renewal. If you do not renew, we may suspend hosting, and you can ask us for a copy of your website files first.
- Domain. Your domain name is registered for your use, and you remain responsible for renewing it. We can handle this for you if we agree it in writing.
- Your accounts. Keep your logins and payment details up to date. You are responsible for activity under your accounts.
- Fair use. Support and maintenance cover normal updates, security, backups and minor content changes. We may charge extra for large changes or unusual hosting load.
- Availability. We work to keep your site online, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example by outages of third-party hosting, networks or services.
0930-day money-back guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not happy with your website, you can tell us within 30 days of the date your website goes live. We will first work with you to put it right. If we cannot resolve the problem, we will refund the package price you paid for that website.
- To claim, email info@lvlgruppen.com within the 30 days and tell us what is wrong.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us agreeing to the refund.
- Third-party costs we paid for you that cannot be recovered, such as domain registration and paid licences, may be deducted, and we will tell you the amount before refunding.
- The guarantee does not apply to extras that were quoted and paid for separately, or to problems caused by content you supplied or by changes made to the website by someone else.
- After a refund, our licence terms apply again: the website, design and content stay with us, and you must stop using them.
This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under mandatory law.
10No guarantee of results
We build websites designed to help your business get found and generate enquiries. However, we do not and cannot guarantee any particular result, such as search engine rankings, website traffic, number of calls or leads, or revenue. These depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, search engine rules, your services and your marketing.
11Acceptable use
You must not use your website or our Services to publish or promote anything unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or harmful, to infringe others’ rights, to send spam, or to spread malware. We may suspend or remove content or services that break this rule or the law, and we will tell you why where we can.
You also agree not to misuse our own website, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping it in bulk, or interfering with how it works.
12Third-party services
Your website may rely on third-party services such as hosting, payment, email, analytics and maps. They are governed by their own terms and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct. We will take reasonable care when choosing them.
13Confidentiality and privacy
Each of us will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential and use it only for the project, except where disclosure is required by law or needed to deliver the Services. We handle personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
14Warranties and disclaimer
We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from what is stated in these Terms, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, the Services and our website are provided “as is” and we do not give other warranties, including that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.
15Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill;
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16Your indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs brought by third parties because of content or materials you supplied, or because you broke these Terms or the law, provided that we promptly tell you about the claim and give you reasonable help to deal with it.
17Cancellation and termination
- By you before work starts: you may cancel before we begin and we will refund any payment, less any third-party costs already paid.
- By you after work starts: you may cancel at any time by written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and the 30-day guarantee still applies if you are within its period.
- By us: we may suspend or end the Services if you do not pay, seriously break these Terms, or if we must do so by law. We will give you reasonable notice where possible.
- After termination: amounts due stay payable. Ownership of the website passes to you only when you have paid in full. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, liability and governing law) stay in force.
18Force majeure
Neither of us is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, power or internet outages, cyber attacks, or failures of third-party providers. The affected party will tell the other as soon as reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to resume.
19Contact and electronic communication
You agree that we can communicate with you, and that agreements can be made and notices given, by email and electronic means. Please send notices to info@lvlgruppen.com. We will send notices to the email address you gave us, so please keep it up to date.
20Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Danish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days. If we cannot, the courts of Denmark, with the City Court of Copenhagen as first instance, have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to use the courts of the place where you live.
If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law where you live, and you may use any available out-of-court dispute resolution options.
21General
- Changes. We may update these Terms. New versions apply to new orders from the date published. Changes to an existing project need your agreement.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and your proposal or contract are the whole agreement and replace earlier discussions.
- Severability. If a part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right does not mean we give it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor to our business.
- Language. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
